Three Hours Between Planes presents the work of eleven young
German and American based artists working in photography and
video. These artists received their training at the Hochshule Grafik
und Buchkunst (Academy of Visual Arts) in Leipzig and The School of the
Art Institute of Chicago, both prestigious programs in lens-based
creation. Their work is predominantly narrative, and thematically
it focuses on the sense of waiting between events. This work offers a
fresh read of everyday reality with rigorous precision and deadpan
humor.
