COME OUT AND ENJOY A DAY OF FREE FOOD, GAMES, AND ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY

Located: 2400 Dowie Memorial Drive (band shelters), Zion

City of Miracles Association is responsible for three festivals in the Lake County area. 2008 will mark the 10^th anniversary of the association and the Walnut Street Festival. Festivals include vendor information booths where literature is distributed, a job fair, musical performances, speeches by elected officials and motivational speakers.  Due the success of these outreach festivals crime rates have dropped tremendously, causing positive impact on the community.Teaching children that coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, and working together is success.
