"A man doesn't know"... what to do, that is, when his beloved baseball team keeps losing to those Damn Yankees!  Middle-aged Joe Boyd would give anything if his cherished baseball team, the Washington Senators, could only make it to the World Series Championship.  Lucky for him, Mr. Applegate can offer him a deal: “give me your soul, and I’ll turn you into the superstar you desire.” Joe is about to find himself a star Senator player, young and famous.  A salesman himself, he remembers to bargain for a loophole that’ll allow him to lead the Senators to the Pennant and still make it home to his wife, as long as he leaves the team before the last day of the season. Applegate agrees with a wink and a smile; knowing he's got Joe's soul permanently.  After all, Applegate has the infamous "Seniorita Lolita Banana" working for him.  Whatever Lola wants… Lola gets.
