Scott Earl Holman, origionally from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, moved to the Miami -- Ft. Lauderdale area to attend the University of Miami as a studio music and jazz major on piano. At the same time he began to perform professionally on Miami Beach and Ft. Lauderdale on guitar and vocals working for older established musicians in the area. Later, he would go on to lead his own bands on piano , performing most of the major venues in the South Florida area.
Scott moved to Chicago in 1990 and was featured live in several performances with Richie Cole on Larry Smith's WBEZ Jazz Party(91.5 fm), followed by performances with Richie on South Beach at the celebrated Van Dyke and Ft. Lauderdale's 'O'Hara's' on Los Olas blvd.
He then went on to run many successful jazz programs in various chicago clubs, celebrating the art with musicians, that include legends like Ira Sullivan, Von Freeman, Lin Halliday, Larry Gray, Eric Alexander, Paul Wertico and many others.
