Behind the scenes of the Art Institute lie laboratories equipped with
state-of-the-art scientific instrumentation to enhance our
understanding, long-term preservation, and display of works of art.
Part forensic science, part detective work, this talk will unfold
examples of research carried out on selected objects from the
collection.
